It’s never too late to follow your dreams.

I'm over 45 – and I dared to believe in myself and in my dream.
Today, I run my own jewelry business, built entirely by myself from the ground up.
It's been challenging, yes – but even more fulfilling.
Maybe my story can show you that anything is possible if you just take the first step.

Hello, I'm Jacqueline – the founder and creative soul behind Lofoten Jewelry.

Lofoten Jewelry is a one-woman business, and I'm proud to do everything myself. From designing and crafting to marketing (website, social media, and more) – I'm the face of my brand. But the journey here was anything but predictable. For 25 years, I worked as a nurse in anesthesia and intensive care – a profession that taught me a lot about people, life, and resilience. But at some point, the longing to follow my creative passion became too strong to ignore. So I took my love for jewelry design seriously – and step by step, I built my own business. Let me be honest with you: I'm not a young influencer. I'm 45+ and only started using Instagram a few years ago. My approach is different from many younger brands. I don't work with influencers, I don't use models – most of the photos you see are of me. I'm my own model, my own marketing team, and my own photographer. My jewelry is for people who appreciate timelessness and quality – no matter their age. If you're young and feel drawn to my brand, that truly makes me happy. Maybe my story will inspire you: It's never too late to go your own way and make your dreams come true. I'm not competing with younger brands – I'm following my own path. Authentic, honest, and free from the pressure to "keep up." My pieces aren't just beautiful – they tell a story. Every single piece is made with love and a deep attention to detail. I don't work with casting companies – each piece is personally designed and handcrafted by me. Here, you'll find true one-of-a-kind jewelry – as unique as we humans are. Of course, this journey has required a lot of work, energy, and patience – maybe even a few extra wrinkles and grey hairs. But that's life. And you know what? Younger people grow older too. It's a process – and I embrace it. I don't share everything about my production. Big brands don't reveal their secrets – and neither do I. My knowledge, my techniques, and my creativity are the heart of Lofoten Jewelry – and they remain my little secret. The only luxury I allow myself? My accountant. Everything else is pure dedication, craftsmanship, and passion.

Handmade jewelry – as unique as we are.
Thank you for being part of my journey.
