How to measure Ring Size?

Determine ring size without a ring

Determine the circumference

If you cannot use a ring as a template, the ring size can be easily determined using a piece of thread. All you need is a ruler, thread and the finger on which the ring is to be worn. Cut a generous piece from the roll and wrap the thread around your finger. It should fit snugly on the finger, but still fit over the widest point, the middle bone.

The thread must still be able to move easily around the finger and up and down. Mark the two ends or cut the thread where the two ends overlap. Using the ruler, you can now determine the exact length of the thread and thus the circumference of your finger. If the thread is 5.4 centimeters long, or 54 millimeters, this corresponds to a ring size of 54.
